Dear Saints,

What a year, and did the Lord ever allow me to torment the Devil!!!

The first day at Florida International University in Miami, Florida, we were given the legal run around for two solid hours with no results.  I called my attorney friends who faxed the University a letter to remind them that there is still a Constitution in this country.  We went out to preach the next day not knowing what to expect from the administration.  Praise the Lord! We experienced no further harassment for the rest of the entire week.

At Florida Southern University, I began to preach and within fifteen minutes a female security officer arrived and tried to make the students stop listening to me.  I told the students not to listen to her because she had no authority to make them leave. The students ignored her and the crowd swelled.  The female security officer called for a back up that arrived shortly thereafter. The campus security called in a couple of city police cruisers.  After they all conferred with each other, they soon left the area.  Later on that day a male student threw a cup of regurgitated tobacco chew all over me, another student threw water on me, another student rubbed an entire can of snuff in my hair, a Mormon girl kicked me in the back and another male student grabbed my tie and began to choke me.  It was at this time that a male campus security guard intervened and restrained the student and thus protected my right to freely preach to the students.

At the University of Florida in Gainesville, four militant homosexuals simultaneously attacked me.  They encompassed about me like a pack of wild dogs, one of them even jumped on my back and began to ride me; I spun around in order to throw him off.  When they realized that I was undaunted by the assault and that I was even more emboldened to declare the Gospel, they slithered back into their holes.

At the University of Alabama I encountered three Pakistanis, (the Mecca of Islamic law).  The Lord enabled me to stop their mouths, as they were over here in America trying to say that their religion and country was not that much different than Christianity and America respectively.  After over an hour of denials by the Pakistanis, they finally admitted, among other things that, if I were to stand in the streets of Pakistan and declare that Allah is the Devil and that Mohammed is in Hell that they would kill me.  One of them even went to the library and checked out an Islamic book in order to try to refute me.

Five students of the Baptist persuasion came to hear me preach at a church in Tuscaloosa, Al.   That night’s message was entitled, "Eternal Security Shot Out Of The Saddle."  I was even interviewed for forty-five minutes on the "Lee and Wolf Show" the #l rated live college talk show in the country for 1998.

At Clemson University, I arrived on a Monday, the first day of final exams and usually preaching is unsuccessful during exam week but the crowd grew so large that I was moved because of a campus wide noise policy for exam week.

Last week, a young man was saved on the streets of Anderson, S.C. on a Saturday night around 11:30 p.m. while I was preaching in the parking lot of a Parts America auto parts store.

We thank you for your love and prayers.
