Dear Saints,

Greetings!  We have all been well this semester and are thankful to God for our good health.

We began this semester down in Southern Florida.  Jim preached at two Universities there.  In Homestead, FL. we found a Spanish Church.  This was an experience for us.  We needed interpreters!  The Pastor had Jim give his testimony on our first visit and a young man got saved!  He wept before the Lord in repentance and God gloriously saved him.  The pastor then asked Jim to come back and preach in their tent meeting.  Jim preached the first night and the boy that got saved at the church, brought his wife and she got saved.  We were thrilled!  Praise the Lord!

We moved on to Lake Placid, Fl.  We did some street ministry with a church there.  Those from the church that participated loved it and were fired up to do more ministries outside the church.  Jim preached at Edison Community College in Ft. Myers and there was no small stir.  We moved on to Dundee, Fl.  Jim went to a Baptist Bible College and was asked to leave.  Jim preached at another private school in Lakeland.  He must preach on the sidewalk at these campuses.  Also, Jim preached at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.  Once again, Dr. Jeff Butler invited Jim into his classroom to speak to his Communication Class.

We moved to Tampa, Fl.  The University of South Florida heard again from Bro. Jim.  There is a young boy that goes to school there.  Jim met him last year, Rudi Lopez.  Jim talked and dealt with him and convinced him of holiness, (living above sin).  Bro. Jim will probably feature him in our newsletter.  Rudi and his wife are now saved.  Praise the Lord! They need good fellowship.  Both have Catholic backgrounds.  Bro. Rudi now preaches on the streets and also at campus 2 or 3 times a week.

Next we moved to Palatka, Fl.  From there we went to the University of Florida in Gainesville.  Several from the church went and we had a good time.  When we left there we were filled up at Allentown camp meeting.

Louisiana was our next stop.  North East Louisiana State heard from Bro. Jim.  I believe the whole town of Monroe was stirred.  Several from the church where we were went with Bro. Jim.  The local T.V. news came out and filmed them.  This church was active in street ministry already and Jim went with them to the street. They had never before been allowed to preach very long on the street without being stopped.  The police officer confronted Bro. Jim and he stood firm for his rights and they were allowed to continue as long as they preached on public property.

Please pray for Nicole.  She is a German girl that we met at Florida International University.  She is truly searching for the truth. We still have contact with her through e-mail.  Pray for Rudi and his wife Lena.  These are especially on my heart.  My mother, Juanita Jones, is in need of prayer.

We thank you for your love and prayers.
