Dear Saints,

 

Sister Bonnie is still doing quite well with the pregnancy.  In January, her obstetrician grounded her from traveling until delivery.  Nothing serious, just four minor complications, which, when added together calls for less travel than with her other pregnancies.

 

We did make two trips together though.  One trip was to Pacific Garden Missions in Chicago, Il.  We were heartened to discover that PGM is closely affiliated with Bob Jones University and the fundamental Bible Baptists.  They told us that D. L. Moody was one of their first Board Members.  We were honored with front row seating in order to watch as the “Unshackled” production staff recorded my testimony on March 2, 2002.  We were given a tour of the mission and treated to a nice dinner.  After the “Unshackled” recording, I was given five minutes to speak to the live audience.  “Unshackled” is aired on 1470 stations around the world.  PGM only makes 52 recordings of “Unshackled” per year.  We were truly blessed to have PGM choose my testimony for production.  Overall it was a wonderful once in a lifetime experience.  The airing date for my testimony is the third week of June, between the 16^th and 22^nd.

 

If you remember our last newsletter, I told you about being arrested by a wannabe Sherlock Holmes at the University of Indiana, Pennsylvania.  At this time, the bench trial is set for May the 7^th. 

 

The District Attorney along with the University is still giving us a hard time.  For example, at one point, the District Attorney and the University Police sent us a letter informing us that we could come by and retrieve my briefcase, the video camera and make a copy of the videotape that was confiscated back on October the 5^th.  I had a friend go to the Police Station in order to retrieve the items only to have the campus police hand him a letter from the District and University Attorney stating that, as of that day, we could not have the briefcase and camera but could only take pictures of them and make a copy of the video tape.  The fact that they will not turn over my briefcase and the camera is a demonstration of their utter hostility towards us.  We did take pictures of the items and did make a copy of the videotape.

 

Since the four hi-jacked planes were used as human bombs on September the 11^th, all of we campus preachers, Bro. Rick Bradley, Bro. John Duncan, Bro. Matt Bourgault and Bro. Donnie Morris have experienced an increased governmental resistance towards the Gospel of Jesus Christ.   It seems as if every would be tyrant, despot and dictator within the University Administrations and Police Departments are making a last ditch effort in a frenzied power grab to silence the Gospel message.  Please pray that God enables us to conquer the tyrannical enemies of the Gospel.
